Thank you to the nearly 20,000 people who took part in the landmark Health Measurement Survey.
The information from this survey will be incorporated into the latest Global Burden of Disease Study 2010, a project involving more than 800 researchers globally, with the goal of measuring the impact of different diseases, injuries, and risk factors on people's health worldwide.
The study is being led by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington in conjunction with Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Queensland, and the World Health Organization.
Visit the IHME website in 2012 for the study results.
